Strike Squads most often act as the forward guard of the Grey Knights' strike force. Equipped with slightly lighter armour than the main Terminator Squads, these veterans strike quickly and confidently, able to slip behind enemy lines. Once the battle begins, the Grey Knights' commander is sure to order one or two Strike Squads to take over a key target or take up a position of advantage by sending them through teleporters to ensure a quick takeover of these targets. Strike Squads are essential - without their reconnaissance and preparation, Terminator Squads would be like shooting blindfolded.
