The Pteraxii are one of the many specialised cyborg castes belonging to the Adeptus Mechanicus. They have been optimised for reaction time and agility. The Pteraxii's reflexes are enhanced by reconnecting cognitive elements that impede their basic functions. Additional limbs are implanted on the Pteraxii's back, on which wings extend and jet packs are positioned. Skystalkers find the optimum vantage point from which to look out for victims. When they find their target, they drop down on it from above, impaling it with a hail of razor-sharp arrows.
