The rotting entrails of the Great Unclean swell with pus and pestilence, and in each such swelling grows a tiny and malignant demon called a Nurgling. As the Nurgling matures, it feeds on the filth of the Great Unclean and pops up; it is the epitome of a boil or pustule. Their small teeth are razor sharp and leave festering bites on their victims, but rarely kill them completely - although such an attack can be the start of a long, disease-filled death.
