The T'au air caste uses the Tiger Shark fighter-bombers in a support role, harassing ground targets with cathartic raids. Larger than the Barracudas and with twice the firepower, woe betide enemy aircraft that find themselves in the field of fire of these machines. Their transport capabilities also allow them to secure ground targets once the smoke has cleared.
In this box you can build two Tiger Shark fighters. The standard AX-1-0-2 is armed with not one but two Swiftstrike launchers, while the AX-1-0-3 variant replaces them with two Swiftstrike launchers and the AX-1-0-4 with two ion launchers. All are armed with missile pods built into the wings, and have drone ports to add short- or medium-range support in the form of cyclic ion blasters and long-barreled explosive cannons. Add a Seeker missile bay to take out key targets.
