Since Sauron's arrival in Dol Guldur, the surrounding Green Forest has become a place of fear and darkness - corrupted by the Necromancer's influence, it has taken on the new name of Mirkwood. However, the shadow that loomed over the forest did not go unnoticed by the Wise Ones, and to keep his return to Middle-earth a secret, Sauron fled to the East. In the years that followed, his influence over the forest waned and Dol Guldur fell into ruin.
This terrain collection contains six complete plastic sets of Ruins of Dol Guldur™ scenery, themed around the destroyed fortress of Dol Guldur - the Hill of Enchantment - on the southern fringes of Mirkwood.
The sets include statues, staircases, metal gates, dead trees and plenty of vines, as well as creepy skulls and skeletal remains. The individual pieces of all six sets are fully modular, so you can assemble them in a variety of ways to create your own unique scenery. You'll find enough pieces in this box to build a truly massive structure, fill a battlefield with a variety of ruins or do both - and save money compared to buying the individual pieces separately.
The set consists of 816 plastic pieces. This scenery is supplied unpainted and requires assembly.
