Ratlings are a race of human-derived non-humans who are characteristically short and plump. They have uncanny eyesight and their small size allows them to stealthily move through tight terrain that larger troops may struggle to overcome. These qualities mean that they are ideally suited to the role of snipers and it is in this capacity that they are recruited into the Imperial Guard.
