Swooping Hawks are fast air support for the Aeldari. They wear wings made of plates of vibrating feathers that contain small gravitational lifters, allowing them to soar high above the battlefield and then swoop down on enemy units, firing lasers and grenades at them, before disengaging from them and taking to the air again. Although poorly armed and armoured, they are the ideal unit for taking out enemy artillery, hunting fast-moving vehicles and ambushing flanking units.
