When Daredevil returns to Hell's Kitchen as the new leader of the Hand Ninja clan, he abandons law and order in favor of a much harsher approach. With the Hand Ninja army at his side, can anyone stand in the way of Matt Murdock and this dark new incarnation of Daredevil? Assassin and mercenary Elektra Natchios has been trained by the ancient ninja cult known as The Hand to become a master of martial arts and stealth. She is willing to work for anyone who can afford her unparalleled skills, quickly eliminating those who dare to stand in her way. Although she sometimes joins forces with Daredevil and other heroes, she is ultimately a lone warrior who follows her own path among the shadows.
