VOLTURNOS HIGH KING OF THE DEEP

He was the first of his kind and is the last of the Cythai still alive. All Ionrach bow before him, their only recognised leader, the oldest and greatest of his race. He is Volturnos, the Supreme King of the Deep, and has unquestioned power in the assemblies of Idoneth. He goes to battle on top of Deepmare Uasall and inspires pride in all who fight under his command. He is a legendary leader, it is said that no one can read the course of a battle better than Volturnos. He carries a sword known as the Astra Solus, which cuts through armour with ease, leaving a glowing streak in its wake, and a shield that can swallow enemy magic, rendering it invalid - Volturnos is not content to lead his troops from afar.
