Many of Dawnbringer's crusades survived and established new outposts of the Order's forces, some of which eventually grew into independent settlements. Others, however, were soon overrun by the rampaging forces of Destruction and so the realm of Ghur is strewn with the ruined, forgotten remains of a once hopeful expedition. Future crusaders occasionally come across these ruins and scramble for the remains, seeking answers to their ancestors' demise, or perhaps just hoping to reclaim lost possessions.
