Though the ranks of the famous Ducal Sunspear's Guardians are not numerous, they are widely regarded as one of the most highly trained formations in all of Westeros. These warriors are able to efficiently adapt their fighting style to both offensive and defensive maneuvers. Though they wear heavier armor than most of the Martell forces, their excellent condition allows them to keep pace with lighter units. There are no other troops in the Martell force that would be better suited to be the hard core of the formation.

In addition to the 12 models that make up the Guard unit, the set includes the Master of the Spear model with an accessory card.
