Walton the Nagolennik, Gravedigger and Sour Alyn have their own forms of cruelty that they apply to others. Ben from the Bone, Tybald and Damon Dance-with-Me carry out their atrocities with sadistic joy. But even they must be careful, because if they ever incur the wrath of their rulers, their cruel methods could be turned against them. Well, to be a subordinate of the Boltons is to step on a knife's edge, sometimes also in the literal sense of the word....
